Mice and rats can carry infectious diseases and are able to damage electrical wiring and wood structures. We work to remove them from the inside of the home as well as prevent them from getting in.

If a homeowner sees or hears a rodent, chances are very good that there are a number of them in or around the home.

Causes of Rodent Infestations

Rodent infestations, such as a typical roof rat infestation, is caused when these pests find a handy source of food. Typically in the Valley, pet food or fruit trees which are not well tended and have ripe fruit left on the ground will attract roof rats, which live in the trees or, as an alternative in the home.

Signs of Rodent Infestation

  • Droppings
  • Electrical problems
  • Gnawed-on wood, drywall, or PVC damage
  • Odor from a dead rodent in the wall
  • Noises in the wall or attic

Controlling and Treating Rodent Infestations

Rodents must be trapped and removed and their entry points sealed to prevent further infestations. Complete irradication may require ongoing diligence.
